Pokeddex - Your Choice!

The Pokeddex challenge is now complete! In this challenge I let you, my followers, suggest me Pokemon to draw and vote for your favourite if there were several candidates for a category.

Here are all the paintings that I did! I want to thank you all for throwing in the suggestions and voting to make this project possible. I have done several Pokeddex challenges by now and I really like how it worked out this time. It was super fun to make it more communal in a way and I also didn't need to make the decisions myself, haha.

This bunch has so much variation and I am really happy of that. Variation is one of the things that made this challenge feel so successful. I got to draw a lot of different creatures and really hone my skills. I think especially insects were a big one - during this challenge I discovered how cool insects are and how many super interesting ones there are out there. I feel like I really improved a lot in many aspects, technique wise as well. Looking back on my older compilations there's been significant improvement which makes this challenge even more fun to do. And lastly I think this is the first time since the early Pokeddex challenges that I actually managed to keep up with my schedule and finish the challenge on time! So big yay!

For some reason I thought this would be my fifth or sixth challenge but it's actually the seventh! Just wow. Well, there are still a lot more Pokemon to draw so there will be a new challenge next year! I liked this "Your Choice!" theme so much that I'm thinking about doing it again and improve the way I run it.

The originals will be for sale at some point! I will need some time to do the pricing and all that so stay tuned! I will put them up on my Etsy. ^{(If you absolutely must have any of these and can't wait, hmu via note or something and I can give you the price.)}
