Pokeddex 2014 Least Favourites

As mentioned before this year I tweaked the challenge and turned it upside down. For 31 days I have been drawing my least favourite Pokemon in the same fashion as I have drawn my favourites in the past three years.

Some of these are scanned and the rest are photos. I don't really feel like scanning 19 paintings and photoshopping the colours right. Sorry.

First off, the purpose of this challenge wasn't to completely bash these Pokemon by drawing them. (I did the bashing in the explanations I gave for each choice.) The purpose was to challenge myself to draw something I really don't like and do it in a way I would draw a thing I like. I drew these Pokemon just like any others, in my own style, tried to find each Pokemon's basic essence, what they are really about, what are they/could be based on and portray them in the way I saw fit for each Pokemon. Some portrayals might seem rather odd but I have an explanation for each and every choice and portrayal when necessary.

All of the explanations, all the choices, they are my personal opinions so I would appreciate it if you were able to take them as such. If you are interested in why I dislike a particular Pokemon so much I have posted all the pictures and explanations on my art Tumblr. Unless there is still something unclear (in which case you can always ask and I'll find time to answer) it'd be great if you could refrain from posting comments like "BUT HOW CAN YOU DISLIKE X IT'S THE CUTEST EVER" or "but it's really good at this and that". I don't care. You can like the Pokemon, think something is even worse, agree or whatever. It's cool. This is just my opinion, not the ultimate truth.
