Long time no update. Summer proved to be way busier than I expected but there is still plenty of holiday left so maybe I'll be able to finish chapter 17 before it ends. Now I'll go back to working on commissions.

So, one milestone reached. Groudon is up and everyone is happy. Except not. In case someone didn't get it, red orb would make Groudon wake up happy and fresh and obedient while blue orb wakes it up in the same state it was before put to sleep - angry and willing to finish Kyogre off. Some people were looking forward to the battle against Maxie but it was really uneventful and the situation in the comic didn't allow a proper battle. If someone is interested, I think it went something like this: Gis OHKO'd Camerupt, Thorn OHKO'd Mightyena and Ey OHKO'd Crobat.
Then there is Brendan and his hat that actually was quite important but who cares. And if something there seems familiar, you are seeing right. I actually included that fake anime screenshot just as it is in the comic. I thought it would make it much more convincing.
May probably doesn't make much sense yet but she will eventually. I'm not sure if this update answered more questions than it arouses but don't worry, everything will be answered at some point.

Edit; Oh yeah, I caught a Geodude in the volcano but I forgot to put it in the comic. Not that it would've fit anyway. I never used it either.

(Man I'm glad I don't have to draw caves in a while. The last two updates killed my pencil.)
