Wise

Inspired by an interesting-looking stain on the wall and this song.

This is a piece I've been meaning to draw for over a year now. I made a lot of sketches, a lot of plans but I never got further than that. Then suddenly I got an inspiration to finally get it done. Obviously the picture went through a lot of changes during that time. I changed it from abstract into something more concrete, changed the size of the original piece, changed the media and the colours, too. But the core remained the same. I don't think waiting was a bad thing at all. This looks so much better to me than the first messy plan. Sometimes taking the time isn't all that bad.

I'll probably be selling prints of this in Tracon VIII if anyone's interested.
