Edit; Made some adjustments, this version should be better and brighter. :)

Hello again, everyone! I guess you're all fed up with my pokemon art already! :XD: I promise the next one won't be a Pokemon, I'll finally try to finish those promised arts now that my winter holiday in few days. I'm really sorry I'm such a lazy ass. Past week I haven't had any time to draw at home because school literally eats all of my time giving me tons of homework every day. Luckily today I didn't have so much homework to do so I could FINALLY finish this picture. This had been lying on my table for some time, since I watched a couple of pokemon movies. Those movies featured Dialga, one of the very few pokemons I actually like in the 4th generation, and I was inspired to draw it. I really like Dialga. :)
This was also sort of relaxing method, I drew this every now and then to take a break from homework. The process was long and I didn't rush or anything so this came out pretty nicely. The only problem is that IRL you need a proper light source to see the colours and the whole drawing in its full splendor. And, as usual, my scanner did terrifying job, thank you very much. It obviously hates black paper and obviously hates colours (also hates monochrome pictures, hmm...) and decides to rape them every time it has a chance to. So all honor to my Rapist!scanner. I also hope this isn't too dark for you. It's not easy to set the levels suitable for all screens with a laptop...
Otherwise I'm very satisfied with the outcome. I had very much fun trying to make Dialga look a bit more realistic. Since it's a damn TIME CONTROLLING DRAGON  I wanted to give it more dragon like features. I chose to give Dialga some scales. :] I also just wanted to make something detailed, practise perspective, play around with wonderful possibilities of black paper etc. I only have one A4 sheet of black paper left now! D: Damn.

Well, hopefully you like it and won't kill me because it's yet again another pokemon! :D
(Though it would be awesome to draw a picture of Palkia with title "Lost In Space"! I got the idea from Avantasia's song Lost In Space. :D ...someone stop me before it's too late!)

Oh yeah! I've found another band whose music I like: Therion! I'd love to have their album "Gothic Kabbalah", I can't stop listening to it, but I have no idea when I'll have money next time. X( This "finding a new band/album to love every week" is getting expensive... I'm frustrated!

This picture is theme number 30. Traditional draw something using colourpencils only from the 100TechniqueMeme list.

Mediums Black paper, a bit bigger than ordinary A4 sheet | Faber Castell Polychromos coloured pencils
Time taken An eternity in parts. Maybe 10 hours.

Simply stunning.

Let me start by saying "Jiminy whillickers batman!" And gush words of sweet, sweet love in your ear for five minutes. The amount of time and detail you put into this piece clearly payed off in this beautiful piece of artwork. The technique you used to make Dialga look more realistic (scales, the half-hidden face) really adds to the effect of the picture. It looks like he's just floating around, yelling at everything in its path.

What really caught my attention about this piece was the background. It's very simple, but drawn to perfection none-the-less. In all honestly, the aurora coloring was what made me look at the picture in the first place.

The details put into each and every scale, bone, toe and assorted glowing lightning spots really makes this piece a champion among others in my eyes. Every pencil stroke was filled with love, care, and undying free time when you had the chance to make it. Again, it really pays off.

I can see how scanners rape pictures up the bum, and I can clearly see the rapage in this picture, but it doesn't really detract from the picture that much. The tad bit of over-saturation actually kinda helped the time and space feel of the background, while making Dialga just a little bit brighter.

Overall, this picture blew my mind. You are an amazing artist, and all you can do now is improve. I hope to see more amazing art such as this from you in the future, and expect many more gushingly loving critics from me.

You rock.
