Someone just kick me already, my titles have become almost unbearably terrible.
Anyway, Sceptile for "Draw Every Pokemon". We're doing Hoenn now and I'm really looking forward to it. I kind of missed my chance to get Absol and it's tearing my heart into pieces but I'll just have to live with that. There are tons of cool Pokemon in Hoenn, I'm sure I can get at least one of my favourites.
I wanted to try something very green this time. Now that I look at my gallery I don't find that many green pieces. I use mostly different shades of blue. I love green and I wonder why I haven't used it that much. Today I learned something at school and I wanted to try it out. The lecture was incredibly boring (the techer introduced different traditional media and their uses and trust me, there was nearly nothing I didn't know already. No, I've never used coloured pencils and I have no idea what kind of paper I should use with watercolours. *facepalm/headdesk*). However, there was one thing that picked my interest. The teacher said that sometimes it's better to try to make sketchy pictures rather than very refined pieces because the sketchy ones show the feeling much better. That made me want to try to make the background very fast, not caring about single strokes but the overall view. I think it came out pretty nice. I could've done Sceptile that way, too, but I missed cell shading so this is what I got.
Oh, and Sceptile is totally a carnivore. Check it's Dex entry if you disagree. It HUNTS for it's PREY. That's what it says. I doubt this version would be able to climb trees very well but...well, maybe it has it's ways.
I hope you like it!
