Finally I managed to finish something! I has been so long since I last updated anything. You can blame it all on my school, it eats the most of my time. Now I have some time to draw because my exam period starts next week. It means I don't have homework but I have to prepare well for those exams. :/ But I'll have more time to draw anyway. I try to finish the promised arts first but I might finish something else, too. It depends on my motivation on each pic. If I have no motivation the outcome is usually poor...
But to this picture. It's the 20,000th kiriban picture won by
, she asked me to draw her character Yuuna, who is a phoenix of rainforests and plants, and I happily accepted it. 
This was really nice to draw, I've almost forgotten how wonderful it is to colour with Copics, though it took an eternity thanks to my homework. I wanted to create a rainforest-like atmosphere and I think I did quite well with it.
I used bottle inks with outlines, beautiful golden ink with Yuuna but scanner destroyed the shiny effect it has. (It also raped the colours somewhat... but that's nothing new.) When light comes from right angle on the paper, Yuuna seems to shine and it makes her look even more like a phoenix. I wanted to take a photo but I have no idea where our camera is... But use your imagination to create shiny outlines, it looks very pretty.

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis is gorgeous! I love all the details that you put in it. The clouds in the sky and feathers really stand out to me, they look pretty realistic <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="15" height="13" alt="
" title="Heart" /> I also love how the background fades as it gets further away into the mountains, and the trees behind the ones in the very front look really nice too, the direction of the leaves, the shading, and everything flows really nicely and gives it a realism appearance <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" /> For the trees in the foreground, I almost get the feeling that they don't quite belong since the style is slightly different from the rest of the piece, but it's not too bad and it still fits with the picture, and I love the contrast on them by the way ^_^ Also, some suggestions I would give is to sharpen the face and tail, they kinda seem to run together a little bit, and the green tail in front of a green background can get confusing, I think some strong shadows to separate the tail from the background and feathers from other feathers would help it and make it even better. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
