An update that didn't even take a month to make! Wooo, I'm on fire! Also, the fillers are pretty much over for now, the next few chapters will make some progress in the story.
I enjoyed working on this update quite a lot, oddly. Maybe because there's actually something happening. And because Brendan's so much fun to make fun of. Poor guy.
I don't actually have much to say about this. Just that sometimes even the best plan can crash in no time. What a great idea, let's to to the enemy's HQ, it'll be fun!EDITBecause a few people pointed out it was a bad idea to no have any other Pokemon out, here's a little explanation that might enlighten the situation a bit.
Okay, I understand why you might think it was a horrible idea to not have any other Pokemon out (it was a horrible idea to go anyway) but let's look at the situation a bit differently. It is an enemy base that is infested with grunts and admins who may or may not have their Pokemon out meaning they probably have other means than just Pokemon to stop possible intruders. In my universe directly attacking a trainer is considered a crime, even if it is a criminal they're attacking. Nessa already has a record on that and getting another sentence would result in suspending her licence. Also, any ruckus caused anywhere inside the base would'e caused an alert that would've lead who knows where. They're inside a volcano, on the top of that.
Also, Nessa had Ey, who actually did have a plan. And yes, that plan was to indeed go under radar, make it to a safe point and form a plan to get the orb back (this plan included more Pokemon, sneaking in was supposed to be quiet). She knows the base quite well and she knew about Magma's plans. I was planning to reveal this on the next part but I should've mentioned it more clearly in this one: there shouldn't have been any Magmas there at the time. None. But for some reason there was an admin and a handful of grunts.
Find out what happens in
Until the next time!
