]In a place where life ceased to exist a long time ago is the heart of their home. The bones they carry and build their nests from are signs that they are truly the rulers of this barren place. Their endurance is second to none, and to them any sign of weakness is a sign of prey. They are the vultures and this is their reign.
Mandibuzz for "Draw Every Pokemon". This is my last contribution to the project. It has been a lot of fun drawing all these Pokemon and see different artists give their share for the project.
Now I'll have to come up with something else to spend my time on.
Anyway, I wasn't a fan of Mandibuzz when it was first introduced and I still find the official art very derpy but after doing this redesign and doing some research about this Pokemon I gotta admit it is pretty cool. I might be a bit biased, I have a thing for big badass birds. Gotta love the typing, though.
As for the picture, some of you might have seen me working on it on my streams and know how much effort I put into it. I am actually very proud of this one, and yet again I surprised myself by how patient I can be. Even if this consumed a lot of time I don't think any of it was of waste. I enjoyed drawing this a lot and I am very pleased with the outcome, too. :>
Now, this was completely unintentional but I couldn't help noticing that almost exactly one year ago I drew a picture called "Desert Encounter"
. I didn't first realize I draw desert scenes so much but instead of changing the scenery I took this as a personal challenge to see how much I have improved during one year. There are a lot of differences between these two pictures but there are also some similarities that are probably more clear to me. But I daresay a lot of improvement has happened.
Right now I'm just happy I finally finished this and that the picture turned out better than I expected, for once.
I hope you like it!Media
