Whoo, I didn't think I'd make it but I did! This is my entry for 's Primary colours contest and I'm actually pretty early with this!
In this contest you could darw anything Pokémon related but you could only use up to two colours (+ black and white and all the hues of selected colours). Once I had picked my Pokémon, picking colours was easy. I had hard time picking a Pokémon so I though I could as well paint a painting I had been wanting to paint for a long time now. Remember this one? Because that Articuno was so much fun to paint I thought I could paint the two other bird from the legendary trio. This time I picked Zapdos because it's not so colourful and because I've been wanting to draw it for a long time. Zapdos is my favourite from the three and it is also one of my all time favourites. I just love Zapdos!
So, I painted this with acrylics and the colours I used on this were Winsor Blue, Cadmium Yellow, Ivory Black and Titanium White. There might be some greenish tones wisible but that is just because blue and yellow blended a bit but that was not my intention. I tried to paint them away the best I could and there shouldn't be much visible. Just in case you wondered why there is some small green spots.
This was very fast, relaxing and fun to do. I just decided that Alright, I'll make that painting right away. And I did. I didn't even make a sketch first but started painting from the background and the just... painted. I had to sit on my floor because all my tables were full of stuff but it wasn't too bad because this was a quick painting.
Might do Moltres some time soon.
Well, hope you like it!

Very nicely done. Somewhat realistic, but it still looks like Zapdos. Great work.
