Description
Absol for "Draw Every Pokemon" in Nuzlocke forums.
Absol is, as many of you might know, my all-time favourite Pokemon and I was thrilled to have the honour to draw him for DEP. I had a lot of trouble with this piece and started at least three different versions of the painting - two of which ironically became a disaster.
I'm quite happy with this, the third version. I really enjoyed painting it and it was fun to use salt again, haven't done that in a while. I think I spent more time on Absol itself than the background.
Also, oddly enough I've found different shades of yellow and orange rather fun to work with even though orange is probably my least favourite colour and I used to, well, not avoid but just not use them in my pictures.

Amazing. I love it. I think it really captures what Absol is, a 'disaster senser'. Awesome!
