Don't mind the title. I just have to use the remaining themes of the challenge somehow. 67% was the only one that I haven't used / haven't planned to use and that fitted with this picture. You could think tha Phoenix, the wolf character here is 67% phoenix, or you could think that phoenix' transfer status is 67%. |D I though those two would make some sense.

If I didn't want to use themes, the title would've been 'He Lives in You' which is the song I chose in 's music theme contest. I wanted to enter both of her contests, but I just didn't have enough time. And I had hard time choosing the song for the picture. Both songs were from The Lion King 2. It's not a very good movie, but has really nice soundtrack and I just love "He Lives in You" and "We Are One". I decided to take He Lives In You, because somehow it fits better with this picture. And I like it just slightly more than WAO.
I decided to draw Phoenix, because he just seemed so wonderful character and he was actually really nice to draw. Weird thing is that I didn't lose my patience with this picture, not at once. It may be so because I did this in many parts, but still. I enjoyed the whole drawing. And I like the ourcome pretty much, too. ^^

This looks so much better IRL. I did the lines of the spirit phoenix with gold ink and it looks really pretty when light reflects from it. But scanner doesn't understand that, scanner doesn't like that, scanner doesn't show that. Oh well... And I also messed up with the gold ink. See that spot near the bird's head? I didn't want to even try to cover it with paint of correction pen, because otherwise the colouring would've been really crappy on that spot.
Sepia ink is really lovely too. It's dark, but has a hint of colour unlike black. I think sepia makes this more alive or something. :3
