More digital art this time.
Few days ago I realized that I haven't drawn anything digital in ages and my hardly existing skills with digital drawing might be gone. Then I realized, too late, as usual, that the mother's day was coming. I realized that yesterday... And I just took my dusty tablet and started to paint something without any sketches or plans. I just wanted to do something with the theme 'Flower'. And nowadays I only want to draw dragons and humans. So I could say that I'm having a minor artblock with what I want to draw. And actually, I don't want to draw, I want to design and colour. A bit troublesome, but I'm still able to draw when needed. :3
And so this flower dragon was born. I really have nothing special to say about the picture itself. I enjoyed doing it, though, but the outcome really isn't the best. But I found out that the oil painting brush in Open Canvas 4 is a kick ass. A bit annoyoing, but I managed to tame it somehow. Still the program and the tools like teasing me so it wasn't very easy. I had to re-isntall the whole program few times, OC4 just does that with me and I've got used to it.
I drew this almost the whole night though all the time wasn't used for this picture. I did various things like bred my dragons and then drew again, serached for good music and the drew. Like that.
And I'll never draw as detailed picture as this with as small resolution as this. The full view is the actual size I worked with. Yeah.

My mother liked this, thought. She's going to put the print of this in frames and put the whole thing on a wall... Sigh u__u
Well, the fact that she liked it is the most important. I was a bit unsure about this because I never do anything digital as a present and I think I have never drew a dragon for her before so... But it was good after all. :)

Now I'm off to draw a birthday present for my dad, his birthday is tomorrow and my mother remided me of that just a little while ago. Great, isn't it. This amount of work is seriously driving me insane...

Se näyttää ihan mielettömän hyvältä :heart: Tykkään erityisesti lohikäärmeen väristä, sillä se on epätavallinen ja hyvin herkullisen näköinen. Niinkun karkki-lohikäärme :D Rakastan tollasta joutsenkaulaa, ja lisäksi alakulmassa oleva valon heijastuma on todella hyvännäköinen ja sopii juuri kohdalleen. Kuvassa näkyy hyvin tehty jälki ja erittäin eteerinen fiilis n.n

Hurr, tämähän on kanssa oikein nätti ^^ En yleensä perusta pinkeistä otuksista mutta tämä on kaunis. Olet tehnyt taitavasti siivet, niiden kalvot menevät nätisti vaaleammiksi reunaa kohden. Varjotkin menevät tosiaan kauniista ja lohikäärmeen muotokin kiemurtelee mukavasti, joten en yhtään ihmettele että äitisi tahtoi tästä printin seinälle .D.
Jotain huomiota tahtoisin kuitenkin väritykseen kiinnittää, sillä kun häntä alkaa tusota siiven vierestä, ylittää tuo punainen sävy ainakin tuossa kohtaa valkoisen kiillon. En usko että kyse oli tarkoituksen omaisesta värityksestä? Näittäisi siistimmältä jos punainen ei ylittäisi tuota kiiltoviivaa joka reunsutaa muuta häntää. Ja huomioin myöskin nuo vaaleat tuntosarven tapaiset, ne hukkuvat ehkä aavistuksen liikaa takimmaiseen siipeen.
Mutta muuten erittäin kaunis, tarkkaa työtä. Hatun nostoa teikäläiselle vaivan näöstä. Kuusi tuntia on paljon yhteen työhön ainakin meikäläisen silmissä.

Oikeasti, tämä on ihan mahdottoman ihana ja hyvin tehty. Nuo värit on suorastaan herkulliset, varjostukset, valotukset, siivet, kaula (! <3), siive... uh ah. :heart: Aivan loistavaa työtä Shinon! n__n
